Job Description
Experiences:
More than 10 years of leadership experience in an international company with a significant presence in China.Proven ability to successfully manage global and multicultural business operations.Necessary experience in working with local Chinese government authorities, specifically gained through working for large and medium-sized enterprises.Preference for candidates with experience in the medical, furniture, or other key industries, but not mandatory.Cultural Understanding:Proficient in understanding and navigating both Chinese and Western cultures.
Language Skills:Fluent in both Chinese and English.
Education:Bachelor's degree or higher, with preference for candidates educated in Western countries.
Major:Preference for candidates with a background in Business Administration or Engineering.
Soft Skills:Possess an integrative, cooperative, and motivating management style.
Special Experiences:Experience in IPO preparation or a successful IPO is welcomed but not required.
The Successful Applicant
Represent the group and its headquarters in public forums, including banks, government entities, investors, customers, and other stakeholders, and provide regular reports to the Board of Directors.
Direct and enhance the organizational structure of the headquarters, ensuring seamless coordination across the group's global operations and maintaining optimal operational efficiency.
Develop and refine business strategies for existing divisions and emerging business areas, aligned with the directives set forth by the Board of Directors.
Oversee the comprehensive implementation of the group's business strategies, monitoring the execution of plans and programs, and ensuring compliance with all relevant rules, regulations, and directives from the Board of Directors.
Guide the annual business planning process for the entire group, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to shareholders and other relevant internal and external stakeholders, considering the group's organizational structure (divisions, regions, and legal entities).
Bear responsibility for managing significant emergencies and critical business matters on a global scale.
Provide oversight and guidance to local General Managers of group companies.
Lead the preparation for an IPO, leveraging resources from both external and internal headquarters and group companies, and deliver updates to existing shareholders and other interested parties.
