PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Support Experience Process and Innovation Office (SEPIO) within the IE Customer Interactions Solutions (CIS) enables SAP support organizations in various aspects to run their business at its best, like dealing with Support Infrastructure, owning Support Processes, building up the future of data driven decision making and many others.

 

Become part of the SEPIO Support Data Governance & Experience team, stepping in and supporting us in our journey towards data driven decision making. You will work in a highly diverse international team environment, collaborating with colleagues based in China, Austria, Germany, Ireland, UK and US.

 

You will join the Data Intelligence & Innovation team in Shanghai, China as a data scientist. In this team, you will contribute in designing and creating predictive AI and machine learning based solutions to provide value for different SAP support organizations, encouraging any kinds of innovative ideas and explorations to benefit our internal customers.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

· Evaluate existing predictive AI/ML based tools and functions and/or develop new approaches and methods.

· Design and develop AI/ML based predictive solutions and enhance or improve existing ones.

· Liaise and collaborate with different teams within SAP.

· Tightly collaborate with representatives from the business to understand their needs.

· Engage effectively with other teams and individuals.

· Programming skills (Python, etc.).

· Excellent English communication skill (verbally and written).

· Excellent troubleshooting and resolution skills.

· Curious mind to work on exciting new topics.

· High level of curiosity, motivation and willingness to learn new technologies.

· Strong team player and quick learner.

· Open to phrase out your own ideas and perspective, etc.

 

EXPERIENCE (Role Requirements)

- Degree in computer science or relevant technical/scientific field.

- Experience in mathematics, statistics, computer science or similar.

- Experience with linear algebra, calculus and statistics is preferred.

- Expertise in data science and predictive approaches.

- Knowledge in agile working modes like SAFe, SCRUM, KANBAN etc is preferred.

- Ability to deal with multiple projects in parallel.

- Other programming skills is highly valuable (optional).
