The ICCT is looking for an intern to join our Beijing office, working to support EV-related research. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the nonprofit sector.


You Will:


  • Contribute to EV-related projects.
  • Conduct quantitative and policy analysis under the guidance of ICCT’s research staff.
  • Support report writing and outreach material preparation.
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks and other duties as assigned.


You Have:


  • Undergraduate status in the 3rd or final year of school, or graduate student status, preferably with a major in Transportation, Urban Studies, Public Policy, Environmental Science & Engineering, etc.
  • Knowledge of electric vehicles, EV batteries, and relevant policies, with experience in EV-related projects preferred.
  • Advanced charting and data analysis skills in Excel, and familiarity with quantitative analysis tools such as Python, R, and Matlab.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English.
  • Ability to work 24 hours per week for at least 6 months.


Our Benefits


The internship will be based in our Beijing office and will have a duration of 6 months with the possibility of extension. The ICCT will provide a laptop and other office equipment as needed. This internship offers a salary of ¥3,200 per month (96 hours per month), or an amount proportional to the workload allowed by your university.
