Cloud Architect

Responsibilities

• Responsible for understanding the unique requirements of our clients, design . This includes overall technical framework, business framework, and system framework 

• Design and develop solution for RFP/RFIs & proactive proposals. Support client workshops and proposal defense 

• Design solution covering Cloud (Azure) for consumers 

• Collaborate with Cognizant internal stakeholders, product vendors, other third party service providers and the customer in the strategic design process to translate business needs into enterprise level solutions

• Demonstrate technical expertise in hardware capabilities, software requirements, security requirements and systems integration

 • Determine the availability and viability of third party components and services as needed

• Validates third party components comply with established core system architecture. Develop and design specifications for integration, products and technologies

• Developing robust architecture design and functionality

• Identifying creative solutions to meet system/business requirements with and without the development of custom code

• Training client personnel on the usage and administration of the proposed solution

We are looking for Cloud Architects who meet the following criteria:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related Engineering subjects

• 12-15 years of IT experience with 10+ years of experience in cloud, architecture Environments

 • Experience of working with Chinese as well as multi-national customers

• An established track record of delivering, preparing RFI/RFP response, technical solutions for systems integration & consulting engagements in data architecture solutions

• 5+ years of experience of implementing & integrating application into cloud based systems in Azure

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and stakeholder management and influencing skills. Ability to deal with both highly technical and non-technical people

• Understanding of architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachmann
