CI Associate

SUMMARY:
This position will manage consumer research in support of value to market projects. It includes understanding marketplace, technology, consumer dynamics for a specific category, integrating & communicating insights internally and to external customers. Responsibilities also include managing selected department programs, and to develop new programs and research tools.   

HOW YOU WILL LEAD AND CONTRIBUTE:
•    Manage consumer research in support of proactive and go to market reactive projects. This includes study design (work with internal team), test content/questionnaire design, coordination of fieldwork (including arrange test sample preparation and shipping, work with market research agency, onsite in the fieldwork etc.), data check and analysis, generating report, written and oral communication of research findings, managing research budget, contract and payment.
•    Use strong expertise in consumer research to successfully deploy a full palette of qualitative (including focus group discussion, in-depth interview and in home visit) and quantitative (including U&A study, sample CLT, sample HUT) research tools, without supervision, to meet agreed project deliverables.
•    Recognized as a CI associate and category expert internally and with key customers through effective oral and written communications/presentations. Applies understanding of the marketplace, technology, and consumer dynamics in categories mentioned above. 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
-    Bachelor degree or above in Statistics, Economics or related field 
-    3 - 5 years of experience in consumer research with full project management responsibility
-    Good knowledge/experience in concept/sample test techniques (e.g. qualitative skills in focus group discussion, in-depth interview, IHV and quantitative skills in sample test of CLT, HUT) and consumer behavioral research techniques (e.g. qualitative or quantitative U&A study) 
-    Strong working knowledge of word and data processing, presentation, and statistical packages 
-    Good English ability, both oral and written.
-    Excellent communication skills
-    Strong Teamwork and customer orientation skills 
-    Willing to learn, quick learner, diligent, patient, precise, accountable and flexible
-    Familiar to Microsoft Office esp. for Excel and Power point, priority on Statistical skills on SPSS/Excelstat or other data analysis tools etc.
-    Experience in relevant FMCG industry a plus
