We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Actuarial Analyst - GLOBAL INTEGRATED REPORTING.

Principal responsibilities

To support the manager in delivering one or more actuarial functions for the Group Insurance, Global Integrated Reporting team, including:
  • Support the principal on relevant aspects of process enhancement, control improvement, and automation, to improve the IFRS17 reporting process.
  • Carrying out the end-to-end process from data preparation, model set up, model execution, results analysis, and improvements.
  • Contribute to a productive team environment, and act as a role model to junior team members.
  • Identify improvements, efficiencies, and enhancements to existing processes.
  • Ensure that all work is compliant with the internal and external audit requirements.
  • Maintain a robust control structure, governance, and documentation standards.


Requirements

  • University graduate in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Business Finance, or related discipline.
  • Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of life insurance products, regulation, and reporting regimes.
  • Proficiency in the English language (written and verbal) is essential.
  • Simplified Chinese (written) / Mandarin & Cantonese (verbal) is desirable.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Knowledge of Python and/or Prophet is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, or other analytics software is desirable.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
