Specific Responsibilities Would Include
This position of Logistics Analyst (Freight Payment) will be responsible for the oversight of international and domestic payment auditing, performance, spend management reporting and process improvement of all global international shipments for Centric Brands. This position will lead efforts to ensure timely payment and oversight of carriers and their statements to ensure constant communication and alignment occurs timely. Other critical roles are to support visibility efforts of actual performance and reduce costs via projects and processes enhancements including, reduced lead times and reduced costs. This position will be responsible for maintaining and updating databases for all reporting across all divisions and modes, creating automated reporting for both routine tasks and ad-hoc report requests. This position will provide weekly business performance reports as well as carrier performance scorecards for internal customers and management of vendors ensuring proper visibility. Work closely with carriers and internal customers to support enhanced service levels.
1. Maintain all inbound/international rates and update 3rd party freight pay upon changes for auditing purposes overseeing all statements of accounting while also ensuring proper coding of freight bills.2. Validate, track and improve all processes to ensure correct amounts paid, and facilitating refunds or reimbursements where overpayments or underpayments may occur.3. Develop models and processes to support the capturing of errors, data cleanliness, corrective actions, and track performance of updates and trends of performance including but not limited to spend items, categories, payment timeliness and other items as identified by leadership.4. Support and drive improvements to ensure accrual performance with Finance that is +98% accurate to actual paid amounts, capturing all areas of cost and opportunity.5. Support and build freight models supporting parcel, air, ocean and others upon requests including reports capturing incorrect usage of rates, lanes, accounts etc.6. Understand, manage and facilitate transportation budgets, presenting weekly/monthly business metrics for current state business, potential future state with identified changes and impacts, root causing areas of out of acceptable ranges with corrective actions.7. Support the tracking and identification of continuous improvement initiatives for all inbound and international freight movements, including consolidations, mode shifts, etc along with validations and maintenance.8. Support maintenance of cost models for transportation estimates and budgets for inbound and international transportation, ensuring data cleansing and verification of information.9. Support all analytics of carrier performance supporting the management of KPI's and participating in business reviews.10. Maintain routing guide support for different modes along with claims for Centric Brands.11. Any additional tasks as required by supervisor.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or a related field required is preferred.
2-4 years’ experience in analysis, planning and international logistics.
Experience and understanding of international shipment and logistic cost drivers .
Self-Initiative, Quantitative problem-solving skills, with strong team involvement.
Microsoft office with strong experience strong in Excel is preferred also with experience working in Access, Word and PowerPoint.
Strong English written/verbal.
Database knowledge, creation and enhancement from Excel based reporting is preferred.
Experience with Freight payment information and analysis is helpful.
Good presentation skills, written and oral in an organized fashion.
Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred.
Master’s Degree is helpful.
Data analysis and data visualization competencies preferred.
Knowledge of SAP systems preferred.
Skills
