ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will also be responsible for, but not limiting to the following duties:
Finance, Costing and Reporting
- Continuously monitor the cost structure and perform cost analysis to maintain effective planning and control procedures.
- Analyze and report on variances and provide direction to cross-functional teams for improvement.
- Develops, analyses financial & accounting systems controls & standards & ensures timely submission of financial & management reports.
- Ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely, relevant and provides direction on a forward-looking basis to support business decisions.
- Ad hoc special project as assigned by the supervisor.
Finance business partner
- Constructs and simulates financial models and provides analysis, capex budget, ROI calculation etc. to support business plans/cases.
- Supports team in meeting targets for Revenue, Gross Margins, Operating Profit and Working Capital objectives with respect to the Companyâs Core Value Drivers.
- Liaison with all functions to review, complete yearly budget, monthly & quarterly forecast and monitor the spending, deviation and make the best recommendation etc.
- Pre-alert the risk and direct the project team from finance, tax or customs insights with other functions for transfer projects.
- Provide the finance support and insights for STD cost, Interco transaction arrangement, TP, inventory purchase and management, FA acquisition and management.
- Provides financial tracking and insights on spending control for both Cap Ex and Opex and key KPIs for projects.
- Provides business support to functional heads.
- Conducts meaningful monthly business reviews together to management team.
- Supports Senior Leadership ad hoc reporting etc.
Internal Controls
- Implement accounting processes to ensure day to day operations.
- Constant focus on finance process improvements and simplification.
- Work with internal and external audit by reviewing & verifying records/procedures and ensuring compliance and action plan for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them under supervision.
- Ensure adequate internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity under supervision.
- Engage with Danaher internal audit, regional general counsel, corporate tax, Â local tax authorities; resolve issues and drive action in a timely manner under supervision.
Support Dx platform C4C operation Finance
- Data collection, analysis and consolidation etc.
