We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Actuarial Analyst - ACTUARIAL - INSP.

Principal responsibilities
  • Carrying out the end-to-end process from data preparation, defining assumptions, model set up, model execution, results review, result analysis and result submissions.
  • Producing monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of insurance entity results under IFRS17 and other MI information under other reporting basis (e.g. Embedded value).
  • Ensure that the financial reporting work is compliance with the internal and external audit requirements.
  • Maintain a robust control structure, governance, and documentation standards.
  • Support analytical review for new business management, including sensitivities, analysis of change, business projection, assumption change impact, and IFRS17 VFA eligibility and onerous assessment.


Requirements

  • University degree in a quantitative subject with professional qualifications in actuarial sciences.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with proven exposure in reporting processes and the reporting control environment.
  • Good spoken and written English, and the ability to Simplified Chinese (written) / Mandarin (verbal) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
  • Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
  • Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
