Collaborate with LDC-SH and the global engineering team to create top-notch, cost-effective mechanical subsystems and components.Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and integrate high-quality and cost-effective mechanical components.
  • Provide engineering design in a flexible product framework.
  • Produce engineering deliverables as per the Otis Product Development Process.
  • Work with the global team to define development requirements.
  • Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for strength assessment.
  • Perform product design technical reviews with the expert team.
Accountability & Measures:
Performance evaluation will be based on meeting engineering objectives and ensuring customer satisfaction.Basic Qualifications, Work Experience & Skills Requirements:
  • 3-5 years or more of mechanical design experience, preferably in elevator design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, especially with remote team members.
  • Experience in design for cost, manufacturing, and installation.
  • Experience in leading product development processes.
  • Understanding of elevator mechanical components.
  • Experience in modal analysis, noise, and vibration measurement.
  • Proficient with CDA tools like ProE/Ansys.
  • Creative, critical thinker, and energetic with strong teamwork ethic.
  • Self-motivated to learn and meet work targets.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Master's preferred.
  • Language: Fluent in English writing and communication.
