Main Purpose of the Job:

  • Function as the Project Quantity Surveyor and collaborate with Project Director/Senior Surveyors to provide professional pre and post-contract QS services.

Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

  • Preparation of pre-contract cost estimates and project cash-flow.
  • Preparation of tender documentation.
  • Tendering process and tender evaluation.
  • Post-contract administration and management of contract documentation, valuation of progress payment, variation assessment, and cost control report.
  • Finalization of project final accounts.

Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Behaviours):

  • Basic technical knowledge in measurement, cost estimating, construction technology, contracts, and law.
  • Understanding and familiarity with professional practices and contract administration processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Degree or diploma in Civil/Architectural Engineering Management, Building, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent from recognized universities.
