Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a commodity buyer specializing in diodes, transistors, MOSFET, and LED Diodes. You will have the opportunity to manage a budget of up to €10M and take on the following responsibilities:

• Manage supplier relationships and engage in commercial activities such as business reviews, RFQs, and roadmap discussions
• Develop comprehensive commodity and business strategies, working closely with our technical teams to ensure a competitive edge and drive profitable growth
• Evaluate technical and business risks, analyze data, and create effective mitigation plans
• Ensure a consistent supply chain by implementing long-term and short-term capacity planning with suppliers
• Collaborate with R&D and Engineering teams to influence technical decisions and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Finance

Basic Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electronics sourcing
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and apply analytical techniques to problem-solving
• Strategic mindset with a focus on results
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a talent for influencing others
• Capability to balance business and technical objectives effectively
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
• Experience working in a multicultural global business environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or supply chain management
• Ability to travel domestically within China and internationally up to 10% of the time
• Proficiency in SAP & Ariba systems
