Key responsibilities
As a software engineer, you will play a key role in implementing all aspects of the product.

Depending on requirements, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers and product managers to develop both the backend and frontend components.

  • Collaborate within an agile team to deliver product features.
  • Design, write, and test clean code following design patterns and best practices.
  • Focus on code quality, maintainability, scalability, security, and performance.
  • Review code submitted by other team members.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and task estimation.
  • Communicate effectively with business and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Provide after-hours support if necessary.

We are looking for:

  • 3+ years of backend development experience
  • Proficient in Java development
  • Knowledge of Redis, MongoDB, Kafka, Postgresql, and their functionalities
  • Experience in developing microservices using Java and Spring Boot deployed on Kubernetes in Azure cloud
  • Frontend expertise in React/Vue/Angular/Flutter is a valuable addition
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Problem-solving skills and commitment to issue resolution
  • Customer-centric approach, whether addressing support queries or developing new features
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery; familiarity with Azure DevOps is a plus
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure for development and deployment
  • Proficiency in test-driven development (TDD)
  • Dedication to ongoing learning
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong teamwork and willingness to collaborate
  • Experience with pair programming is advantageous
  • Understanding of RDBMS database design and structures is beneficial
  • Familiarity with event-driven systems like Kafka is advantageous
  • Involvement with open-source projects is a bonus
