Shipping Administrator

Position: Shipping Administrator-export

Exciting Opportunity as a Shipping Administrator-export

We're looking for someone to help boost our export business at Atlas Copco PC:

• Manage export shipments for machines and spare parts, handling booking, transportation, customs clearance, and document preparation.
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth shipping processes and excellent customer service.
• Coordinate outbound shipments based on production schedules and customer needs, ensuring timely communication of shipping details.
• Handle shipping documents and certificates accurately and submit them promptly to the recipient.
• Ensure compliance with shipping requirements in letters of credit and prepare necessary documents accordingly.
• Update billing system upon posting of goods.
• Assist in resolving transport claims and seek opportunities for cost savings.
• Maintain accurate shipping data, track shipments, and organize documents systematically.
• Check monthly freight bills for accuracy.
• Evaluate carrier/forwarder performance and participate in regular review meetings.
• Offer shipping advice to both internal and external customers, supporting them from pre-sales to post-sales.
• Collaborate with teams to assign HS codes for new product exports.
• Ensure that business partners and suppliers adhere to Atlas Copco Group's Business Code of Practice.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

Experience requirements

• Minimum of five years' experience in the export industry.
• Familiarity with export transportation operations.

Knowledge / Educational requirements

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade or a related field.
• Proficiency in English and MS applications.
• Preferably holds licenses for customs declaration and CIQ inspection.
• Knowledge of SAP and BPCS software is a plus.

Personality requirements

• Initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work well under pressure.
