As the Supply Planner for China, you are an essential part of a Global Operations Team and have a crucial role in leading the entire supply and replenishment process specifically in China.

About You

We are seeking a Supply Planner for China to report to the Planning Manager based in Shanghai.

This position will begin with a 1-year contract with the possibility of permanent headcount conversion.

This dynamic role is tailored for individuals who possess a strong sense of urgency to swiftly address challenges with efficiency. Effective communication and influencing skills are also necessary to collaborate with various stakeholders internally and externally.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Translating monthly S&OP numbers into a replenishment plan
  • Liaising with commercial and APAC demand planners for data anomalies or updates
  • Updating APO with replenishment forecast before cycle cut-off
  • Conducting weekly Supply Review Meetings with the China commercial team
  • Identifying root causes for deviations from plans
  • Developing action plans to address issues
  • Managing end-to-end planning in a toll manufacturing environment, including raw material planning, material inventory control, tolling capacity plan, and finished goods supply
  • Participating in monthly and weekly APAC supply chain meetings
  • Adjusting replenishment plans based on new demand and supply information
  • Issuing adhoc purchase orders & stock transport orders (STO)
  • Coordinating interplant transfers and replenishment shipment status with vendors
  • Collaborating with the Customer Service team for inbound shipments and stock transfers
  • Working with the import logistics team to monitor in-transit stock
  • Addressing inbound damage stock issues effectively
  • Executing monthly Risk Control Management reporting
  • Participating in various Local, Regional, and Global initiatives
  • Supporting goods receipt (GR) tasks

Environment Health & Safety (EHS)

  • Maintaining and enhancing the EHS standards set by the Company
  • Engaging in the company's EHS program, including training and audits

Location

This role is based in Shanghai, specifically in Xuhui district

What You'll Need

  • A degree in Business Administration, engineering, supply chain, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management
  • Expertise in end-to-end supply planning, raw materials, finished goods, and inventory control
  • Familiarity with APO & SAP systems
  • Experience working with 3PL service providers is advantageous
  • Previous involvement in managing batch products is a plus
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Inquisitive mindset with the courage to challenge existing processes for improvement
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Excel for generating reports and using tools like Power BI
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in dynamic work settings
  • Fluency in both English and Chinese
