About Role

A Senior School Music Teacher role involves supporting an inspiring Music curriculum and enhancing teaching standards at Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi. The person in this position will focus on promoting children's achievement and well-being in Music, as well as supporting initiatives to improve student outcomes. They will act as a positive agent for change, playing a crucial role in shaping the future of the Creative Arts faculty.

As a pioneer in Music Education at the Senior School, you will deliver top-notch teaching to ensure high-quality education for all students. Qualifications

  • Graduate qualified teacher
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant subject area
  • Master's degree is advantageous
  • Additional qualification showcasing high musicianship
  • Minimum Grade 6 ABRSM piano skills or equivalent

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience
  • Proven track record in working with KS3, KS4, and IB Diploma students
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire students in a dynamic learning environment
  • Prior experience in an international school and familiarity with the British education system
  • Teaching experience with EAL students is preferred
  • Experience in a high-performing school environment
  • Capability to analyze student data and enhance student success
