Job Overview

Provides legal advice and counsel within a function, region or country.

Essential Functions


• Under general guidance from a senior IQVIA attorney, provides legal assistance to IQVIA companies in complying with laws, meeting business objectives, protecting assets and minimizing risks. Drafts and negotiates contracts with suppliers, customers and others.


• Provides advice with respect to the protection and commercialization of IQVIA's software, database, information technology and other intellectual property assets. Assists other IQVIA counsel and functions or businesses within a region or country with matters such as, but not limited to, antitrust/competition law compliance, data privacy, government relations, strategic alliances and civil litigation.


• Provides legal support for mergers and/or acquisitions.


• May provide legal support on Human Resources and employment law matters.

Qualifications


•


• Attorney with a minimum of five (5) years of general corporate law.


• Previous experience involving a legal sub-specialty such as licensing and intellectual property, data privacy, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, civil litigation, employment, etc.


• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, creative and pragmatic problem-solving skills, business acumen and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
