Responsibilities

  • Supports and advises management in legal areas such as commercial, corporate, labor & employment, litigation & claims, regulatory, IP management, and compliance.
  • Supports Fortive and OpCos on all aspects of commercial relationships, including drafting and reviewing commercial agreements.
  • Assists on IP matters, especially related to patents under local OpCo's name, and other commercial relationships.
  • Leads and supports in litigation, claims, and significant legal matters.
  • Supports M&A and strategic activities, including acquisition due diligence.
  • Acts as a bridge between regional teams and global legal teams.
  • Advises HR leaders on legal aspects of labor & employment matters.
  • Supports in the implementation of compliance programs under APAC.
  • Leads compliance investigations, provides training, and assesses compliance with promotional programs.
  • Acts as a Champion of Fortive Code of Conduct.

Background and Skill

  • At least 10 years' legal experience required, with both law firm and in-house experience preferred.
  • Master's degree from an accredited law school and Chinese bar.
  • Experience in handling a broad range of legal issues, especially in commercial matters.
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills required.
  • Experience with multi-national business preferred.
