Job Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and TE, establishing strong relationships with key customer contacts
  • Engage closely with customers on a daily basis, often on-site, to provide product recommendations and solutions for new and existing applications
  • Offer customer support, consulting services, and suggest TE solutions based on customer requirements
  • Coordinate technical deliverables for customer projects, such as new spec-ins, product modifications, and test studies

Business Development:
  • Demonstrate solid application knowledge to identify current and future customer needs, as well as new business opportunities
  • Engage early in customers' design cycles to contribute to new design and model planning
  • Develop and present TE Proposals to customers, including product selection, design solutions, and evaluation reports
  • Provide application support throughout the sales cycle to ensure high-quality and timely results

NPI Pipeline Development:
  • Identify potential NPI opportunities through customer interactions, offering conceptual design and recommendations
  • Gather VOC and specify customer application needs for new product development
  • Coordinate technical communications and activities with customers to ensure aligned development targets
  • Support product qualifications, oversee product samples, and verification activities
  • Track development progress, collaborating with engineering teams to meet customers' needs
  • Assist with technical marketing for new product launches, providing effective technical data support

Support existing business:
  • Provide support for existing applications and products, including application evaluation and after-sale technical consulting
  • Create thorough technical introductions for focus products, industries, and applications
  • Resolve customer issues and determine solutions within required timelines
  • Manage technical integration of M&A post-acquisition related to application engineering

Support product roadmap and strategy:
  • Stay informed about the market, leading technology, trends, and customer needs. Share insights with PM and Engineering teams for future roadmap planning
  • Define and maintain a customer-focused pipeline aligned with Product Management strategy
