Your Role

  • Focus on China:
    • Lead the retail accounting team and oversee retail finance tasks, including managing monthly closures, enhancing internal processes, etc.
    • Actively contribute to and impact the E-commerce sector, boosting automation levels.
    • Collaborate closely with business counterparts (retail and E-commerce teams) to prepare for rapid growth.
    • Ensure the retail accounting team is equipped with the necessary skills to thrive in their positions.
  • Rest of APAC:
    • Develop a reconciliation template for all retail outlets in the remaining APAC regions (Hong Kong, Australia, Korea).
    • Assume responsibility for DTC-E (webshop) duties from the global accounting team.
    • Oversee month-end closing tasks for retail stores and E-commerce in the rest of APAC, aligning with global timelines.
    • Represent the Finance team in the new store launch process, contributing to establishing financial processes for new stores and actively participating in the preparatory phase.
    • Facilitate communication among various teams, including the global retail tech, system, local retail, and external consultants when necessary.

Your Background

  • Experience in the retail sector is essential.
  • A solid educational foundation and demonstrated experience in accounting/finance.
  • Leadership experience and strong decision-making abilities.
  • Effective global organizational communication skills.
  • Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced setting.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to the development of a cutting-edge accounting function.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese and English.
  • Familiarity with the D365 system is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Japanese or Korean is advantageous.
