Requirements

Responsibilities

· Data Governance and Policy Enforcement:

o Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.

o Collaborate with stakeholders to define business terminology, data standards, guidelines, and protocols to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization

· Data Quality Management:

o Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability

o Implement data quality assessment processes, identify anomalies or discrepancies, and coordinate efforts to rectify issues and improve overall quality

· Data Access and Security Management:

o Responsible for managing access controls and permissions to safeguard sensitive or confidential data for their assigned datasets

o Work closely with IT security teams to attain data access policies, monitor user activity, and mitigate security risks

· Metadata Management:

o Provide context and information about data assets

o Define metadata standards, tags, and classifications to enhance data discoverability, lineage, and understanding across the organization

· Data Lifecycle Management:

o Oversee throughout the lifecycle of data, from creation or archival or deletion

o Establish policy and procedures for data retention, archival and disposal, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and business needs

Requirements and Skills

· University Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science or related discipline

· Minimum 5 years of working experience on data or project management, preferably in banking or FinTech field

· Experience in driving implementation of enterprise master data strategies. Knowledgeable about data governance practices, business and technology matters related to enterprise data management

· Open-minded and self-motivated team player with a "can-do" attitude

· Proactive with strong problem solving, communication, influencing and negotiation skills

· Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Mandarin is an advantage.
