The Role

Veeva Vault Clinical Data application plays a crucial role in the pharmaceutical industry by managing clinical data, randomization/drug supply, and patient engagement. This application combines EDC, CDB, RTSM, and ePRO to support successful and efficient clinical trials, ultimately resulting in faster trial completion.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with customers to understand clinical protocol requirements and ensure project specifications are aligned with industry and Veeva best practices
  • Contribute insights from customer interactions to Product team discussions regarding challenges and end-user expectations
  • Configure systems and provide customer support to ensure project success
  • Conduct user acceptance testing with customers, manage feedback, resolve issues, and ensure study acceptance
  • Assist in requirements gathering and specification creation for study integrations and go-live activities to facilitate a smooth transition for the customer
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring the study trial design meets their goals and maximizes the benefits of Veeva's Clinical Data application
  • Identify project risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory and Veeva procedural requirements
  • Contribute to process improvements and support developers and testers throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the IT industry
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with software solutions
  • Customer-facing experience preferred, particularly in software professional services or consulting
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong focus on meeting project timelines and delivering quality results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel 20-25%, including internationally

Nice to Have

  • Experience in interpreting clinical protocols and translating requirements into software specifications
  • Familiarity with data management standards and guidelines such as GCDMP, CDISC, SDTMIG, and CDASH
  • Experience working with system integrators for various clinical technologies
  • Background in Life Science, computer science, or related field
  • Knowledge of CDISC, ODM, and other data management industry standards
  • Experience with SaaS/Cloud delivery of clinical trials
  • Training experience for clinical sites and investigator meetings
  • Consulting background beneficial
