Responsibilities / Duties
  • In this position, you will manage clinical projects to ensure successful delivery of lab services in the Asia region, including kits shipment, sample testing, and sample management for a clinical study
  • Act as a liaison between Labcorp Central Lab Services (CLS) Global Study Manager and various CLS departments involved in the clinical protocol within the region
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Study Manager on all study-related aspects specific to the Asia platforms from set-up to closure
  • Review the study Statement of Work for regional feasibility and provide recommendations to the Study Design Lead
  • Ensure thorough knowledge of the Statement of Work specifications and their impact on lab services in the clinical trial
  • Manage day-to-day regional study activities, addressing challenges in logistics, lab tests, monitoring, and study supplies, while keeping the Global Study Manager informed
  • Monitor, track, and resolve local study issues, maintaining communication with the Global Study Manager
  • Implement monitoring and local performance metrics, taking action as necessary
  • Collaborate with the Global Study Manager on tasks assigned to the Regional Study Coordinator as part of the Global Monitoring Plan
  • Work effectively in a matrix environment distributing tasks between Regional Study Coordinators and other functional groups
  • Participate in meetings, provide input, and keep processes up-to-date
  • Promote continuous improvement, quality, and productivity
  • Support CLS Global Project Management strategy for customer satisfaction and performance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields
  • Professional experience in clinical research or pharmaceutical industry advantageous
  • Proficiency in English
  • Computer and office software skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, MS-Access, Outlook)
  • Strong interpersonal, influence, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, communicate, and organize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and excellence in a fast-paced environment
  • Teamwork, process knowledge, and internal department collaboration experience
  • Facilitation of meetings and participation in process improvement initiatives
