As a Material Planner for Electrification Business Area in Jiangmen, China , you will be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory from purchase requisition to invoice. Sets inventory parameters, inventory targets, and ensure adequate replenishment of inventory to meet production requirement.

Your responsibilities
  • Segmenting the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management and engineering changes. Defining inventory policies according to this segmentation
  • Calculating and maintaining in the planning systems and the ERPs of the inventory parameters: safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead-time, and replenishment strategies
  • Collaborating with master planner, scheduler, and Buyers to ensure adequate replenishment of inventory to meet production consumption and avoid material shortage
  • Managing MRP exception messages on a daily basis. Reviewing Purchase Requisitions created by MRP and Initiates purchase orders (PO) in the system with standard procedures, and confirms delivery with suppliers ,monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements
  • Analyzing excess and obsolete/aging inventory. Taking appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and Procurement and Logistics
Your background
  • Bachelor or above degree, business or engineering background is preferred
  • At least 2 years of Supply Chain related experience,
  • Data analysis and statistics ability, familiar with Power BI,
  • Basic knowledge of lean, quality tools
  • Good MS office skill and ERP knowledge, be skilled in SAP is preferred
  • Result-oriented, team working, and strong communication skill
  • Fluent in verbal and written English and Mandarin Chinese
