As a Simulation Engineer for Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be responsible for data exchange between Tier 1 and Tier 2 on Team Center and capable of troubleshooting the issues during failures to update to Team Center.

Your responsibilities
  • Managing and supervising a simulation team under customer's simulation standards
  • Managing customer's standard simulation library and ABB standard designs
  • Validating the process flow to follow RFQ
  • Tracking and documenting the process issues
  • Validating 3D models of devices, fixtures, EOATs etc. to clear collision
  • Creating kinematics according to customer's simulation standards
  • Defining welding gun by cutting sections of welding spots
  • Providing welding gun modification suggestion to welding gun supplier
  • Finalizing welding gun
Your background
  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably majoring in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Over 3 year's robotic simulation and Off-Line Program working experience in Body-in-White is a must
  • Experience of Volvo, Renault projects is a plus
  • Proficiency in Process Designer and Process Simulate is a must
  • Proficiency or Experience in Team Center is a plus
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
