As a RDC Manager for Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be responsible for overseeing all respects related to Operations of the robot product business in Industries Business Line in Robotics China.

Your responsibilities
  • Oversee the operations of local Robot Delivery including a scope of Product configuration, Project Management, Customer Support, etc.
  • Focusing on achievement of the forecasting accuracy, inventory turnover of robot products, customer request on-time delivery, lead-time, aging stock, etc.
  • Establishing, supporting and maintaining planning and fulfilment processes. And ensuring the accuracy of forecasting process to PDP
  • Implementing processes and best practices for Robot inventory management. Ensuring the visibility and exchange of overstock with others business lines within Local Division and Global BL
  • Proposing and implementing process optimization to reduce lead time and inventory
  • Leading the local implementation of post-sales support to deal with Customer's Cases (e.g. technical and delivery complaints, delay in delivery).
  • Ensuring that the required trainings are planned and delivered to internal (ABB) and external (Service providers) personnel
  • Lead and oversee the local Robot Delivery Operations team, ensuring that ABB Policies are consistently followed.
  • Leading implementation of continuous improvements to reach the expected service level at optimized inventory levels and costs
  • Coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies
Your background
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration desirable
  • More than 10 years' experience, preferable in automation/robotics, or with sales operations background
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Excellent leadership and people development skills, relevant and successful change management experience
  • Strong customer-focus and proactive approach
  • Capability to work with Excel, SAP and other Microsoft tools
  • Fluent in English
