Job title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer -MR
Purpose:
To develop the next generation of cover platform, and own the cabinet design, including cooling product (LCC), to support the entire MR platform.
Accountabilities:
- Own the cabinet design including DACC and LCC cabinet, including its inner piping design.
- Responsible for the development of system cover platform and magnet pre-assembly parts.
- Responsible for life cycle management and continuously quality improvement on owned parts.
- Develops the work with focus on user and business requirements, compliance, quality, and cost.
- Responsible for delivering input in the planning process to the project manager.
- Draws up personal schedules and reports on progress in a structured and methodical way.
Requirements:
- Minimal bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (>6 years), master's degree is preferred.
- Good knowledge at machining, sheet metal, VAC form etc., and successful product experience at cabinet, cover, cooling product etc.
- Knowledge in Fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermal design.
- Experience in 3D/2D drawings design by CAD software e.g. PTC Creo.
- Experience in calculation and simulation of strength and thermal (Static/dynamic analysis).
- Knowledge in Medical device regulatory requirement in ISO13485, IEC6060-1 add points.
- Knowledge in V-model, design maturity, six sigma, dFMEA, design for reliability add points.
