Description

Your responsibilities:

  • You will contribute to new product development and maintain global product technical support for global technology centers for wet capacitors and capable of making mechanical designs of wet capacitors.
  • You will be capable of creating 3D models and 2D engineer drawings, conducting design reviews including DFMA/FMEA and conducting RCA and supporting quality relevant tasks.
  • You will be capable of providing mechanical knowledge / technical solutions for capacitors and supporting cost-optimal high-quality design in direct collaboration with SCM and suppliers.
  • You will maintain the design, plan, and execute the development test and type test for the wet capacitor and prepare high-quality documents for design outputs.

Your background:

  • Master or above degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 1 to 3 or more years of working experience.
  • Experience in electromechanical design from the electrical power industry or the design of high-voltage products is required.
  • Rich experience in mechanical design and good skills with CAD tools like Creo, UG, and Solid Works.
  • Project management (PMP) experience is preferred.
  • PLM/SAP knowledge is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of machinery and production processes including machining, casting, welding, and so on.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, structured, and systematic thinking.
  • Strong result-driven, high-quality, and high-speed player.
  • Good Team cooperation and communication.
  • Excellent learning ability is required.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
