Responsibilities

  • Optimize design and product structures based on NPD (New Product Development) process to meet scope requirements
  • Calculate, analyze and qualify during new components development according to functionality and reliability
  • Customize layout and tooling to meet the concept of "Design for manufacturing"
  • Identify new design potential risks by following DFMEA (Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) process
  • Work with manufacturing engineers for risk identification and mitigation by adopting the PFEMA tool (Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis)
  • Collaborate closely with cross function teams include planning / procurement / SQE / quality for products qualification
  • Do product sustaining after production and support for continuous improvements
  • Closely work with AE / Marketing teams to provide technical supports
  • Participate into project activities and collaborate with other functions such as Plant Engineering/Manufacturing, Supplier Quality and Procurement as needed
  • ECN related work to ensure drawings / BOM accurate & process optimization continuously
  • Others related work arranged by managers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and other related areas
  • 1-3 years working experience on mechanical engineering design, including basic static/dynamic analysis, calculation on material strength, and components design optimization, etc.
  • Proven technical knowledge and skills on mechanical design.
  • Familiar with GD&T
  • Good communication skills of both verbal and written English
