As a Component Engineer - WWC you'll be responsible for magnetic component design.

What you'll do
  • Ensure that the most suitable components, per quality/cost/time aspect, are selected/designed for all new products within Signify
  • Well define the component technology strategy and deploy them to new product design/development
  • Take responsibilities of component selection/design, component qualification and approval and also component supplier technical audit and approval
  • Well manage component life cycle, including change management, cost down and quality improvement to well support product life cycle management
  • Demonstrate our unique value on component management by daily collaborating with R&D design teams, purchasing, supply chain and quality as well as with our suppliers
  • Get high-level management support as the team is directly reporting to R&D Head of the company
Your qualifications
  • Major in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Magnetic design or Electrical Material engineering.
  • 5-10 yr experience in power electronics design or Magnetic design
  • Quality mind-set: focus on process excellence and data quality
  • Good interpersonal skills: active, open, motivational style
  • Good communication skill in both English and Chinese
