JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our Credit and Structured Products team focuses on broadly syndicated bank loans and middle-market loans, many of which serve as collateral for CLOs (Collateralized Loan Obligations). Team members handle various aspects within the leveraged and distressed bank loan market, as well as structured finance securities, derivative instruments, and corporate debt securities. The role offers a career opportunity that is both highly analytical and centered around client communication. Specific responsibilities include:
- Work collaboratively with the Credit and Structured Products US team to enhance knowledge of the bank loan market, accurately process portfolios of syndicated bank loans.
- Utilize relevant Loan Services Software and proprietary systems.
- Collaborate with external clients and internal account management teams to ensure prompt responses and resolutions to inquiries.
- Manage daily cash and par coordination with clients and trustees.
- Review and deliver cash reconciliation and other daily reports to clients.
- Update client portfolios with post-trade attributes and rating details.
- Coordinate initial data comparison and reconciliation on CLO Monthly Reports.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external entities such as Loan Administration, Asset Services, Recon, Trade Settlement, Trustees, and Agent Banks.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics preferred.
- Basic understanding of loan operations, commercial mortgage lending or loan securitization with some product knowledge and/or customer service experience.
- Capability to independently research and resolve problems, along with being responsive, friendly, professional, highly organized, and possessing excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, performance systems, and other loan research and analysis tools is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to excel in a high-volume data entry environment with accuracy and proficiency.
- Demonstrated willingness to work within a deadline-driven environment.
