Scopely is looking for a Quality Assurance to join our Star Trek Fleet Command team in Shanghai.

Star Trek Fleet Command's ongoing success goes from strength to strength. Our in-house developed 4X MMO was launched in 2018 and continues to evolve, being consistently one of the top 10 gross revenue Massive Multiplayer Strategy games on the market.

What You Will Do

  • Claim total ownership for the quality of a game
  • Create and assign daily test cases based on project GDD
  • Manage bug tracking in Jira and triage issues to appropriate developers
  • Attend daily scrums and maintain communication with regards to the status of games
  • Regularly interface with partners regarding game issues

What We're Looking For:

  • Energetic and passionate gamer with a B.A., B.S., or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience in QA for games
  • Minimum 1 year mobile gaming experience on iOS and Android
  • Experience writing and executing test plans with TestRail or similar test management systems
  • Understanding of Jira, Game Development Lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interfacing with partners
  • Experience with white box automation testing
  • Basic understanding of scripting languages (Python, Javascript, Bash, Shell)
  • Native Chinese; Basic written English fluency is desired
