As a Supplier Quality and Development Engineer for Electrification Business Area China, you will be responsible for monitoring sample production quality, solve quality deviation. Define and fix supplier production process and release quality control plan.

This is a position with global grade

Your responsibilities
  • Organizing sample and small-batch trial parts from suppliers
  • Key suppliers on-site audit and qualification, early involve supplier in ToT
  • Leading new material approval process PPAP to qualify material, Lead small-batch trial production inside factory
  • Assisting TC in third-party testing
  • Involving in DFM/DFA process with TC and supplier to optimize design and the cost
  • Evaluating and controlling supply risks of bulk material supply
  • Working with supplier about design of new component molds, fixtures, and tools, aim to ensure high quality and production efficiency
  • Controlling investment and budget
Your background
  • Bachelor or above in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation
  • More than 10 years of work experience
  • Knowledge on key material manufacturing process
  • Familiar with the design of Elec switchgear
  • Familiar with process flow and rich experience in project management, quality control
  • Knowledge on mold/tooling design
  • Fluent speaking, good written skill in both Chinese and English
