About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Software Engineer to join our team at Renesas Electronics. As an AI Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications and models using modern technologies and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop applications and models using modern technologies and frameworks, contributing to the development of industry-leading AI inferences and frameworks.
  • Code Optimization: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards, performing code reviews, testing, and debugging to identify and fix issues, optimize performance.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other team members as needed, collaborating with HW team, development engineers, technical program managers, and application engineers to accelerate delivery of current/next generation AI products and models for customers.
  • Customization and Implementation: Customize Renesas AI products, including deep learning networks, implementation of compiler optimization algorithms, AI compiler kernel development, etc.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Experience: Experience working as a software or AI, embedded developer, or similar roles.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of computer architecture of GPU or embedded devices, programming skills in languages such as scripts, C/C++, python, or similar, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, experience with version control systems such as Git, ability to speak and write in English at a business level.
  • Desirable Skills: Experience with customer-oriented development, requirement engineering, experience with AI training/inference frameworks like pytorch, onnx, tf, experience with AI compiler frameworks like tvm, mlir, cuda.
