At Novanta, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation in healthcare and advanced manufacturing. As a Manufacturing Engineer-Assembly, you'll play a crucial role in building cutting-edge technology products that transform industries and improve lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality products and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and launch new products, meeting customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Lead process improvements, implementing lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage and maintain product data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs for production staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills to meet quality and productivity expectations.
  • Work closely with quality teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and maintain production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, reducing waste and improving profitability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical-Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on assembly and production.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including design, testing, and launch.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
