Job Title: GTF Resident Center Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Center Manager to join our team at Pratt & Whitney's Geared Turbofan (GTF) Commercial Aftermarket organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) center for MTU-Zhuhai, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of engine status, and facilitating resolution of issues impacting maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure timely and accurate reporting of engine status
  • Facilitate resolution of issues impacting maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with GTF MRO Network policies and contract requirements
  • Facilitate communication between the MRO center and customers
  • Verify and quantify MRO center capabilities and capacity
  • Prepare forecasts and commitments related to MRO output
  • Work with the GTF Network cost management team to execute commercial strategy for cost reduction
  • Develop standard work for interactions between the MRO center and PW/IAE

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a business or technical field of study with 7+ years of relevant work experience, including project and/or operations management
  • Master's or other advanced degree in a business or technical field of study with 5+ years of relevant work experience, including project and/or operations management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: MRO or Engine Assembly Operations, Customer Support, Contracts, Process Engineering, or Powerplant Engineering
  • Working knowledge of gas turbine engines and airline/engine maintenance operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Strong communication, presentation, and data management skills
  • Ability to effectively team across organizations to accomplish shared goals
  • Strong judgment, influencing, negotiating, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated application of continuous improvement principles/tools
  • Anticipated travel up to 20%
  • English language proficiency level of C2
