Job Title: Primary Homeroom Teacher

Aristotle Teachers is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Elementary Homeroom Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. The successful candidate will serve as a cornerstone for the academic and social development of primary students, creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate educator with a strong commitment to fostering the holistic growth of young learners. The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree from an accredited university, a Bachelor of Education, PGCE, or Teaching license, and three years of experience teaching in a bilingual school, international school, or government/state school.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Classroom Instruction:
    • Plan, organize, and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons to primary students in all subject areas.
    • Foster a love for learning by creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  2. Homeroom Responsibilities:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for students in the homeroom class.
    • Monitor and support the overall well-being, behavior, and social development of students.
  3. Curriculum Implementation:
    • Implement the school's curriculum effectively, incorporating a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
    • Collaborate with specialists and other homeroom teachers to ensure a well-rounded educational experience for students.
  4. Parent Communication:
    • Establish and maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians.
    • Conduct regular parent-teacher conferences and provide updates on student progress.
  5. Student Assessment:
    • Assess and monitor student progress through various formative and summative assessments.
    • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
  6. Classroom Management:
    • Create a well-organized and positive classroom environment that encourages mutual respect and active student engagement.
    • Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
  7. Extracurricular Involvement:
    • Participate in and support extracurricular activities, events, and school functions.
    • Contribute to the school community beyond classroom responsibilities.
