We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our team at The LEGO Group, one of the world's best-loved brands. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in unlocking deeper insights, becoming a true data-driven leader, and connecting millions of LEGO fans across China.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and configure end-to-end applications through close collaboration with other product team members.
- Engineer products to the highest standards of security and data privacy by implementing and following LEGO Group security and data privacy principles.
- Develop products that implement business logic, modern design patterns, and architectural principles.
- Ensure product robustness and reliability by writing and executing unit and integration tests.
- Improve operational efficiency by developing automation tools for daily tasks.
- Build efficient and optimal solutions by challenging ideas and opinions.
Requirements:
- A proactive learner with a practitioner's approach to data science techniques and technology.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and build trust.
- Working knowledge of core Data Science skills, including data wrangling, visualization, modeling, and programming.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, with Python being a priority.
- Familiarity with data science tools and technologies, including experience with version control systems like git.
- A commitment to teamwork and a positive, influential presence within a collaborative environment.
- Experience in an agile development setting is preferred.
