A Day in the Life

As a start-up, your days will be varied and exciting. You'll multitask, leverage your skills and natural talents to support other business priorities, and work closely with key account agents and shippers to generate revenue.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily contact with key account agents and shippers to drive revenue growth.
  • Gathering market intelligence to identify new selling opportunities and leverage our competitive advantage.
  • Seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations on products and services to clients.
  • Onboarding customers that provide recurring demand at attractive rates.
  • Actively managing relationships with shippers, key industry partners, and trade partners.
  • Working with the Sales team to provide customer-centric solutions.
  • Analyzing data using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, preparing relevant reports and presentations.

Requirements

The following are minimum-requirement skills and qualifications for this role:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Sales Management within an Air Cargo business, with a solid understanding of Air Cargo Sales & Marketing.
  • A strong track record of developing and leading successful marketing and sales programs for an Airline Cargo business, with a proven ability to build new revenue streams.
  • Strong air cargo sales experience in business-to-business sales & marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills (English is an added advantage).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, both short-term/tactical and long-term/strategic.
  • A well-structured and highly professional individual who is results-focused.
  • A strong business sense, able to apply judgment during negotiations.
  • Based in Shenzhen, China.
