Job Title: Senior Computer Vision Software Engineer

NVIDIA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Computer Vision Software Engineer to join its team and contribute to the development of its world-class AI Infrastructure and leading-edge software on NVIDIA's high-performance DRIVE platform for Autonomous Vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the AV perception team, AV production team, and AI infrastructure engineers to accelerate and optimize the ground truth production for Autonomous Vehicles.
  • Design, implement, and maintain software modules and workflows for signal processing and computer vision in a distributed environment.
  • Automate and accelerate ground truth generation with optimized data quality.
  • Develop automated data analytics and curation for various Autonomous Vehicle use cases.

Requirements:

  • MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of work experience in software development.
  • Excellent knowledge of Computer Vision and 3D vision.
  • Prior working experience in Autonomous Driving, Robotics, SLAM, GPU technology, Deep Learning, or 3D-Gaming.
  • Familiarity with AV perception, object detection/tracking, multi-sensor fusion, and time synchronization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing system software in a cloud and distributed environment for processing large-scale data.
  • Hands-on experience with large data exploration, analysis, mining, and visualization.
  • Experience with OpenCV/OpenGL/CUDA programming skills.
  • Standalone project experience with 10k+ lines of code.
