Job Overview

As an Advanced Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in analyzing the ability of our products and production systems to meet customer and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality planning and controls for new product designs and product changes.
  • Facilitate Design Review (DR) and Design Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) reviews.
  • Implement quality controls and documentation needed for production shop floor.
  • Monitor process capability and oversee ongoing corrective actions as required.
  • Support customer and quality system audits as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Quality control experience in cable assembly/connector/socket or a relevant industry.
  • Good written and oral English communication skills.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Proficiency in SPC, DFMEA, MSA, 7-QC tools, and other advanced statistical quality tools.
  • Understanding of GD&T definitions and requirements.
  • APQP procedure and requirements knowledge.
  • Familiarity with EIA-364 test procedures.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and internal and external relationships.
  • Excellent organizational habits and priority management.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to quality.
