Electrical Sales Professional

We're looking for a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at nVent. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field sales calls and customer support, with approximately 60% travel.
  • Provide guidance to field sales engineers and coordinate activities of internal departments as they relate to the region.
  • Forecast and analyze regional sales activities, programs, and growth of the customer base, and provide plans and programs to meet objectives.
  • Give directions for sales engineers for all major projects and quotations issued for the region.
  • Coordinate sales-focused activities such as samples, prototypes, and costs with the Qingdao operation.
  • Work closely with product management to promote our products in the assigned region.
  • Meet booking objectives for the region.
  • Manage distributors/reps to ensure sales performance.
  • Independent price negotiation with direct customers/reps/distributors.

Requirements:

  • Academic background in a Bachelor Degree, preferably in mechanical engineering.
  • Previous experience in or with:
    • Minimum five years electronic/electro-mechanical sales experience, preferably in the electronic/electric industry.
    • Technical knowledge about rated enclosures/electronic packaging.
  • Persuasiveness.
  • Ability to build positive relationships.
  • Communicates effectively up and down the organization.
  • Must be able to motivate.
  • Outgoing & positive, strong interpersonal ability.
  • Culture background for the assigned region.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
