Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs and improve inventory management.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and issuing teams to coordinate purchase specifications for food and beverage.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of computer data, including inventory items, par stock, and purchase orders.
  • Monitor and control costs in the Materials Department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing measures to reduce waste and spoilage.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to ensure the best value for the hotel.

Requirements

  • University degree or diploma in Hospitality/Tourism Management or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field in a large-scale hospitality establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
