Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply technical expertise to develop and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
  • Estimate manufacturing costs and determine time standards for new or existing product lines.
  • Make recommendations for tooling and process requirements to support manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost reduction and yield improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze data to support product and process improvements, and provide recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Greenbelt/DFSS certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Experience in mechanical engineering and manufacturing operations.
  • Proficient project management skills.
  • Good knowledge of the mechanical industry and its processes.
  • Cause identification and FMEA experience.
  • Working knowledge of SAP/GEM.
