Quality Assurance Manager for Sustainable Mobility

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Forvia, a leading automotive supplier. As a key member of our quality management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout our programs.
About the RoleAs a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for leading quality initiatives and representing the voice of the customer in a dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Achieving quality objectives defined in the quality objectives research (e.g., PPM, NRFT, S/R %...) and cascading them to internal and external vendors through the ASQ organization;
- Becoming the customer quality contact person and meeting relevant information needs (customer APQP tracking, audit support, 8D communication until SOP);
- Ensuring project safety through effective control plan of all project stages and regular risk assessment (securitization rate tracking /PQA tracking/supplier and customer PPAP tracking /PLR tracking /...);
- Reporting the quality status monthly according to the indicators defined by the project quality management;
- Validating the update of the pre-mass production phase control plan developed by NPQ (Support PML) and obtaining approval from the project manager/plant manager prior to the planned milestones (prototype CP GR#2a, pre-production GR#2b). CP series, GR#4 means CP series;
- Coordinating PPAP submissions between factories and ensuring "full approval status" up to GR#4 (for institutional parts);
- Applying functional responsibilities to lead the program's dedicated quality resources, such as the plant quality manager leading his plant quality team;
- Stopping any process or product delivery if serious nonconformity occurs (Customer SR topic).
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor's degree or above, major in mechanical manufacturing/welding/materials is preferred;
- More than 5 years working experience in automobile manufacturing industry, more than 3 years working experience in quality management;
- Mastery of quality management theory and methods;
- Understanding of new project development processes in the automotive industry and familiarity with project quality planning theory and methods;
- Able to skillfully use 8D/QRCI/CP/PFMEA/APQP/quality tools such as SPC/MSA, understanding PPAP/ANPQP file requirements and submit processes;
- Good problem-solving skills;
- Ability to manage complexity;
- Customer focus;
- CET-4 or above/Fluent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills;
- Strong teamwork ability;
- Agility;
- Vision-driven leadership.
