Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Engineer to join our team at Bosch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor the procurement market and competition to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Manage the launch of new parts and suppliers, ensuring seamless integration into our supply chain.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to meet our business needs.
- Lead technical review meetings and price negotiations with suppliers to ensure compliance with our quality and cost targets.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
- Handle RPP and MPP projects, ECRs, and SAP data maintenance.
- Conduct RFQs, validations, and comparisons for new parts, ensuring compliance with our panel and bidder lists.
- Identify opportunities for localization and coordinate with relevant departments to implement changes.
- Scout and select suppliers, implementing process acceptance and supplier development programs.
- Initiate pre-sourcing meetings for supplier pre-selection and inquiries for new parts.
- Determine quality requirements for suppliers, ensuring compliance with our standards.
- Manage external procurement part projects, including procurement of prototypes, initial samples, and first serial deliveries.
- Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience and 1 year of project management experience in the mechanical or electronic industry.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001/TS 16949/QS 9000 quality management systems and tools.
- Rich experience in supplier development and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good experience in project management and team leadership.
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical components manufacturing processes and quality management principles.
- Strong soft skills, including authenticity, teamwork, and organization ability.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
