About the Role:

The Talent Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping the workforce and culture at Thrasio. This strategic position is responsible for determining and implementing strategies to attract, recruit, hire, onboard, engage, develop, and retain top talent. As a key member of the People Product and Implementation team, the Talent Specialist will lead and manage the operationalization of People Team products to drive employee engagement, build a unique culture, and fuel the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Employee Listening and Engagement:
  • Cultivate a thriving workplace by leading the implementation of feedback mechanisms, including engagement surveys, pulse surveys, and employee listening sessions.
  • Analyze results, share insights, and determine actions to drive engagement, shape the culture, enhance People Team products, and build workplace processes & policies.
Build a Culture of Belonging:
  • Determine strategies to continuously improve the employee value proposition.
  • Implement and manage programs to build a culture and create an environment where employees feel valued, understood, and motivated.
Employee Development:
  • Develop and/or curate, implement, and manage learning solutions and paths to elevate employee performance and build skills.
Policy Guidance:
  • Lead the development and implementation of policy information and procedures.
  • Create guidelines, standards, and processes to ensure clarity, fairness, and equity in the workplace.
Reporting and Analytics:
  • Enhance and develop reporting across Talent Management areas of focus to guide decision-making.
  • Analyze data to inform workforce strategies and determine actions to improve the employee experience.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:
  • Determine opportunities to promote DEI in the workplace and ensure unbiased and inclusive processes and practices.
  • Lead the completion of an annual DEI assessment, analyze results, and determine actions to build DEI practices into the workflow.
Performance Success:
  • Work collaboratively with the People Team to continuously raise the high-performance bar.
  • Determine additional strategies and practices to develop and implement to grow Performance Success.
Community Building & Events:
  • Brainstorm, organize, and lead community events.
  • Collaborate with departments to plan and execute team summits.
Employee Enablement:
  • Support the People team's ticketing inbound queue in Zendesk.
  • Ensure timely resolution of People tickets.
Recruiting and Onboarding:
  • Support the implementation of recruiting and onboarding processes and programs to attract and hire top talent.
  • Ensure a positive and engaging experience for candidates and new hires.

What You Bring to the Party:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or Human Relations-related field.
  2. Proven track record in strategic HR roles, including talent acquisition, learning & development, and organizational design.
  3. Demonstrated ability to plan, design, implement, and manage strategic initiatives.
  4. Passion for people and building a high-performance culture.
  5. 2+ years of high-volume HR experience, preferably in a global shared services team.
  6. Experience working with multiple time zones and countries.
  7. Detail and data-oriented with impeccable follow-through.
  8. Strong interest in process improvement.
  9. Impeccable judgment and ability to handle confidential information.
  10. Familiarity with HR systems and processes, especially Workday.
  11. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  12. Experience with spreadsheets, Google Gmail/Docs, mail merges, and Slack.
