About Your Role:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement design strategies to create high-quality products that meet customer expectations and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seasonal inspiration, style, and product concept boards or sketches.
  • Manage and mentor team members to ensure timely execution of projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure design practicality and meet merchandising business needs by developing awareness of our channel of distribution in the APAC region.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant trends and leverage the brand DNA of Style, Performance, and Green to create apparel that meets customer needs.
  • Work cooperatively with the PM and PD team to manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines and constraints, and scheduling project implementation based on workload.
  • Examine existing processes, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve design capabilities, providing feedback on design ideas to improve them or identifying problems that need to be resolved.
  • Able to provide personnel training support for subordinates' career plans and coach each other as role models.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience designing for outdoor and/or sportswear apparel.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • 8-15 years of experience with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.
  • Creativity and innovative design skills, ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and work within deadlines.
  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English.
