Job Title: Project Manager - Pharmaceutical

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional project teams to deliver pharmaceutical construction projects in Nantong. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish project success criteria, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  • Identify and ensure that quality, safety, health, and environment issues are addressed.
  • Develop and implement effective project governance, processes, and systems.
  • Lead and facilitate project planning, including producing detailed project plans.
  • Advising on resource procurement and managing project finances.
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques.
  • Managing change control processes and ensuring project information is communicated effectively to stakeholders.
  • Preparing project progress reports and taking a leading role in interfacing with clients and other consultants.

Internal Management Accountabilities:

  • Knowledge management - ensuring key information and learning generated from each project is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database.
  • Financial management - ensuring prompt client invoicing and utilizing TIC Sheets to monitor project financial status.
  • Process improvement - identifying ways to improve internal systems and processes and referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of project experience in hi-tech manufacturing or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Civil knowledge related to cleanroom and pharmaceutical plant required.
  • Design experience preferred or at least design management experience is a must.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Verbal and written English communication skills preferred.
