Senior SMT Process Engineer for PCB Assembly

Job Summary:

A Senior SMT Process Engineer is needed to lead the development and implementation of surface mount technology processes for PCB assembly. The ideal candidate will have experience in SMT process and PCBA manufacturing, particularly in NPI and lean manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement surface mount technology processes for PCB assembly, including design review, process design, and program preparation.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve process capability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve process issues and improve quality.
  • Develop and maintain process control plans, including FMEA and process capability assessments.
  • Provide training and support to SMT engineers, system operators, and technicians to ensure process understanding and adherence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electronic, or automation engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SMT process and PCBA manufacturing, with a strong understanding of SMT technology and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis, FMEA, and process improvement.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good command of English and strong technical writing skills.
